How did I not think of this earlier?!?!

This boy loves anything that isn't officially a toy! :)  taking the k cups in and out of the holders kept him busy for a pretty long time.

Growing up too fast!

As well loved and taken care of as Brayden was in China, he is behind a bit physically, but making up for it!!!  Just one physical therapy session in he was trying to pull himself up on everything and anything (he wasn't quite there yet, but he wanted to do it!!!).  The pictures with my dad are after his 3rd or 4th session, and 4th or 5th with Benson's dad.  Unfortunately (fortunately?) we don't have stairs in our ranch, but his Grandpa's are more than happy to assist!  He even started shuffling a few steps along our coffee table today!  I get so excited and proud of him, and then want time to slow down/freeze!!  How has this amazing little boy only been with us three months (and two days, but who is counting? ;) ?!?!?!

Brayden has become VERY attached to Mickey, although he is loving on all stuffed animals.  My dad was trying to motivate him to climb higher! :)  I love that with everything Brayden is learning and picking up, he is still my cautious adventurer!  He wouldn't go past the first step, proud of himself for getting that high!

Why bother with toys?! ;)

Brayden might be learning to move around independently, but he still loves to be held and rocked!  When I saw this at Target I figured he'd love it, and we still have some Target gift cards left (thank you thank you thank you!!!!!  See, I didn't use them on myself....I can be trusted! ;)

Is anyone really surprised that he would like the box more? ;)  There's another picture of him sitting on top of the box clapping, so proud of himself, that won't post here for some reason.  It's been a few weeks and we still have the box.  He does like the rocking giraffe, but prefers us...and the box! ;)

Musically Inclined?

Auntie Becky bought this drum set for Brayden for Christmas.  It's really cool and not TOO loud and I'm actually a lot more patient with it then Benson (who am I?!?!?!).

Of course, soon after this became more fun then beating drums over and over!

Checking out his new toy before we took it out of the box.

Sorry, I don't know how to move the pictures around.

Trying out the piano at Lola and Pappou's house.  Brayden kept looking under the piano to see what the petals were for and he wasn't just pounding on the keys. We were all really impressed (ok, yes, we're impressed by EVERYTHING this sweet boy does, but still!) :)

Benson and I marvel at how far this little man has come in the short three months we've had him.  He was so "floppy" in China, barely able to sit up on his own for very long!

And now standing on his own with NO leaning?!?!?!  Soooo proud!!!  I wonder what instrument we'll introduce him to next?

Catching up

Brayden has begun to explore more and more around our house.  We've had the Halloween candy out and this is the first time he ever showed interest in what was in that orange bowl.  Of course now that he knows what's in it (Daddy's a sucker! ;) ) we had to move it up and out of the way of little hands. :)

Downward Dog!!

Trying out play-doh.  I was so worried he'd eat it, but he was more interested in the containers!

He loves building AND knocking down of course :)

This noodle stayed in his hand all of lunch.  He'd hold it up and watch it wiggle :)

His Mickey ears have been hanging off the top of his mirror, but he just recently started pointing at things and grunting.  Well, by pointing I mean an open hand and staring intently at something so we name off everything in the vicinity (building his vocab while we're at it!!).  I don't think he ever really noticed the ears before this day and when I put them on him he started cracking up!  This boy LOVES hats!! :)  Luckily I was able to get some great pictures before he had enough!

I just can't handle this much cuteness!!! :)
