Feeling more comfortable :)

I think moving around in the playground, even though he won't crawl much, made Brayden's personality come out a bit more tonight! We went with two other families to subway for dinner and then   just the three of us went to check out the park. It was getting dark so we barely saw anything, but i can't wait to explore more!! Anyway, we got back to the hotel and as Benson got Bray's bath ready and cleaned bibs, Bray was all over our bed. Now anytime we lay him down, or even sit him down, he fusses, but tonight he would roll over on his tummy, sit up (he does the splits and sits up.....Olympics 2030!!!!) balance himself and then fall over backwards on purpose over and over and over!! :) the belly laugh coming from this kid each time made my heart melt more and more!!! We have been SOOOO blessed with this amazingly sweet, brave, and strong little boy!!!!

He is trying to get the hang of peek a boo, but just covers one eye and grunts then laughs :) he LOVES when daddy plays it though because Benson will jump down into his face and almost scare him, but he loves it!! With me he likes to lay down, put his feet on my chest and "push" me backward so I stand up and stretch and then "fall" back down to him (where I proceed to kiss him all over that cute little face and/or tickle him until he pushes me away)

I know the Brayden Whirlwind Tour is being eagerly anticipated, and believe me, we can't wait to intro him to everyone, but we all have to remember that he has only been with us for a week and coming home is going to be a lot for him. Benson and I have to continue "teaching" him that we are his forever mommy and daddy. Please be patient and understanding with us :) we are not babying him or being overprotective....there was a lot of training going into the adoption process. Slowly but surely you will get your Brayden fix....although he is highly addictive, like Starbucks!!!!

Dont worry, he didn't really drink any :) he liked playing with the straw and cracked up, as did the baristas, when benson blew the straw wrapper at me :)
